Summary
The Order Write-Up Associate is responsible for reviewing purchase orders and generating internal work orders and instructions in the ERP system for Aerospace heat treat operations. This position ensures that all purchase order requirements, specifications, and notes are accurately transferred into internal documentation. The associate verifies that applicable process specifications are correctly applied, completing or adjusting standard work instructions as necessary.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical certificate in manufacturing, or quality assurance preferred.
* 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing, aerospace, or defense preferred.
* Prior experience with ERP systems and document control or production order processing preferred.
* Familiarity with industry specifications, especially AMS or ASTM, desirable.
SKILLS
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry required.
* Ability to read and interpret documents such as purchase orders, specifications, drawings, and procedures.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
* Familiarity in ERP software.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Basic math skills, including working with fractions, decimals, and unit conversions
