Packing/Inspecting - $18.00/hr

Location: Milwaukie

Job Description:
As a Packing/Inspecting team member, you'll be responsible for packaging finished goods, stacking pallets, and inspecting products for defects to ensure only top-quality parts leave the facility. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and adherence to company standards for safety and cleanliness.

Responsibilities for the job include:

• Package finished goods into cartons on pallets or directly onto pallets as directed.
• Stack products carefully, following predetermined patterns for each product.
• Inspect parts for defects, including plugged or drained holes, flash, short shots, warped parts, or contamination such as oil or grease.
• Do not stack or pack defective parts; immediately notify a supervisor if discrepancies are found.
• Maintain a clean and orderly workstation throughout the shift.

Experience Required:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shift.
• Experience in packaging, warehouse, or manufacturing environments preferred.
• Must be able to stand for the duration of a 12-hour shift.

• Strong attention to detail for product inspection.
• Reliability and ability to follow directions.
• Ability to maintain consistent pace in a physically demanding environment.
• Commitment to workplace cleanliness and safety standards.

Work Schedule:

• Monday: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
• Tuesday: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
• Wednesday: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
• Thursday: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
  (One-hour lunch included each day.)

Dress Code:

• Long hair must be tied back.
• No loose-fitting clothing.
• Long pants and closed-toed shoes required.
