We currently have career opportunities for Uniformed Security Officers in the Portland area. You will receive excellent hands on training with our national certified training instructors to include; defensive tactics, OC foam, use of restraints, AVADE, Taser and firearms. This is an exciting opportunity if you are looking for stability and experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle
• Maintain site security and watching for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards
• Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitors entrances and exits
• Prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities
• Provide assistance to customers, employees and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
• Additional duties as assigned

You Provide

• Genuine desire and interest in the security industry
• Ability to stand 100% of shift and physically restrain others
• Must be able to get to and from work
• Basic computer skills to include word and outlook
• Great communication/writing skills
• Ability to obtain a state security license (must not have any felonies or misdemeanors)
• Must be able to work weekends
• 18 years of age and older
• Valid drivers license
• Pass pre-employment drug testing
• Starting wage $24-$28hr/DOE
• **Must meet requirements for sign-on after 180days**

Certification Requirements (All): Valid State Drivers License

This is a full-time position. Travel is required occasionally.
