Job Summary
The Grounds Shop is looking for student employees who can work up to a 24-hour work week during spring semester. This position provides support to the Grounds Shop staff and reports to the Shop Supervisor. The Supervisor provides ongoing verbal feedback to the student employee in lieu of formal evaluations. Student employees are given a list of expectations at the beginning of employment and will be held to this standard throughout employment (as well as any additional University standards/policies).
The hours available to work are Monday through Friday, between 7:00am-3:30pm. We can be flexible with class scheduling.
A valid driver's license and a driving record background check are required prior to being hired if student will be driving any vehicles (including campus carts) as part of their work duties. Student employees must also successfully complete Campus Safety's online driver safety training before driving on campus for this position.
