Care Partner – Compass Senior Living

Compassionate, innovative, and dedicated, the Care Partner supports residents in their daily lives while fostering emotional well‑being. This role is tailored for individuals who thrive in a team environment and are passionate about enhancing the quality of life for seniors.

Responsibilities

• Assist elders with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility) including walkers and wheelchairs.
• Monitor health and document changes; report observations to the Wellness Team.
• Provide emotional support by engaging in conversation, active listening, and offering companionship.
• Help with meals and feed residents who require additional support.
• Engage residents in social and recreational activities to promote well‑being.
• Communicate with residents, families, teammates, and guests.
• Maintain cleanliness by light housekeeping tasks such as tidying and general upkeep.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn and work collaboratively within a team.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills; intends to speak English with residents and coworkers.
• State licensing documentation if required; passes a criminal background check.
• Ability to perform job responsibilities with or without accommodations.
