PRIMARY PURPOSE:
This position is responsible for leading a team of specialists that provide expertise, guidance, and support in early childhood social-emotional development to staff, children, and families. Collaborates with other content areas and Operations to ensure children's social-emotional skills are nurtured in a safe and supportive environment. Leads the implementation of the Pyramid Model (PBIS) and provides programmatic and classroom consultation within the Infant Early Childhood Mental Health Consultation (IECMHC) model.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Master's degree in early childhood mental health or master's degree in social work, psychology, early intervention, disabilities, special education or related field with a related Early Childhood Mental Health certification or credential. AND Minimum of 7 years work experience in the delivery of early childhood mental health services of which 2 years must be in a supervisory role.
