Job Description Kitchen Staff / Line Cook (Asian Teriyaki Restaurant)

We are a fast-paced Asian Teriyaki restaurant focused on fresh ingredients, great flavors, and excellent customer service. We are looking for motivated team members who enjoy working in a friendly, efficient kitchen environment.
Prepare and cook teriyaki dishes, stir-fry items, vegetables, and sides according to restaurant recipes
Ensure all food is cooked to proper temperature and presented neatly
Assist with prep work: cutting vegetables, marinating meats, cooking rice, making sauces
Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout the shift
Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Manage cooking times during busy hours to ensure fast, consistent service
Assist with dishwashing or other tasks as needed
Work as part of a team to create a positive kitchen environment
Previous kitchen or cooking experience preferred, but willing to train the right person
Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen
Strong attention to detail and quality
Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions
Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs
Food handler s card (or ability to obtain one)
