What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

  • Respond to new requests for accommodation and customer service needs within required time frames
  • Assess and triage employee requests for job accommodations, generating necessary application forms and notices
  • Participate in an interdisciplinary team to assist customers facing employee separation or leave as an accommodation
  • Maintain accurate and compliant case records in the company's case management system
  • Collaborate with medical, legal, and absence management personnel as needed

What is Required (Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Science, or related field; or equivalent work experience in human resources or related areas
  • 2-4 years of experience in disability accommodation, absence management, or claim administration
  • Working knowledge of federal and state disability laws, specifically ADA and FMLA
  • Ability to solve customer service issues and deliver a positive customer experience
  • Professional certification such as PHR, CPDM, or ADA certification preferred

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Case management experience applying ADAAA/Accommodation Services using a case management system
  • Knowledge of legislations and state/local issues affecting access for employees with disabilities
