Mechanical Assembly

We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Mechanical Assembler. This role involves the final mechanical assembly of products, ensuring all components are correctly assembled, cleaned, and packaged for shipment. As one of the last people to touch the product before it goes out, your role is crucial in maintaining quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and complete final mechanical assembly of products.
• Clean and package products for shipment.
• Ensure all accessory items (manuals, software, hardware components & cables) are packaged with the product.
• Assemble and package upgrade kits and service parts.
• Verify shipments for accuracy.
• Prepare domestic and international shipping documents.
• Schedule pick-ups with freight companies.
• Physically package all shipments.

Essential Skills

• 1 2 years of mechanical assembly experience.
• Warehouse experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a routine basis.
• Computer fundamentals, data entry experience, and basic math skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with 'electrostatic sensitive procedure' (ESD) is a plus.
• Experience in shipping and using work instructions.

Work Environment

Work in a small/mid-sized company that manufactures audio testing equipment. Be part of a team of 15 in production and shipping, working from 8 am to 5 pm. Expect a collaborative atmosphere where you can assist other team members as needed.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Beaverton, OR.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
