Job Title: Inventory CoordinatorJob Description
The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Assembly department and Production Manager with inventory, supplies, and daily functions. This role involves performing and directing production assembly and packaging functions, attaching components and hardware to form complete units or sub-assemblies, and ensuring proper fit and necessary adjustments. The Coordinator will manage resources for unique assembling or packaging situations and provide for unplanned shipments or supply shortages, verifying product counts, and implementing continuous improvements.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily activities of the assembly team, ensuring correct contents are assembled, packaged, and identified.
- Identify and obtain equipment, tools, and materials needed for job functions.
- Ensure components and assemblies meet quality specifications and conform to drawing details.
- Report problems with quality, processes, defects, equipment, and materials.
- Propose process improvements to increase quality and efficiency of assembly and packaging.
- Track and report job performance, overseeing the efficiency and output of the assembly and packaging team.
- Plan production of sub-assemblies to support final assembly and packaging.
- Attend periodic safety meetings and recommend safety procedure improvements.
- Adhere to company policies and safety regulations.
- Prioritize resources to meet or exceed production schedules.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Read work orders and identify priorities to meet production schedules.
- Wear personal protective equipment and observe all safety procedures.
Essential Skills - Minimum 2 years of experience in production/manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge and experience in assembling standard/custom OEM scope mounts.
- Ability to read work orders.
- Effective in repetitive and routine work.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications - Manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Ability to sit or stand for 10-hour shifts.
- Correctable vision and hearing.
- Ability to move within a 20,000 square foot building.
- Light physical effort required to frequently lift or move lightweight parts.
- Ability to lift and move up to 10 pounds regularly, and up to 40 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, stoop, kneel, and crouch frequently.
- Effective team collaboration and reasonable judgment skills.
- Strong leadership skills.

Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tualatin, OR.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
