We want to invest in your future and see you grow within the company!/ppWhat Youll Receive as a General Production Operator:/pulliStart Entry Level Pay: $20/hr/liliDAY Shift: (7am to 3:30pm) Mon to Fri/liliSWING Shift: (4pm to 12:30am) Mon to Fri/liliPayday every Friday/liliMedical, Dental, Vision Available/liliLocation: Gresham, OR/li/ulpWhat Youll Be Doing as a General Production Operator:/pulliProperly operate weight scale and heat sealer/liliPlace lids on cans, assemble boxes for packaging canned products, fill and seal boxes, and stack pallets. Properly sample bags and sacks at all bagging locations./liliRead production schedule, work order(s), shipping/receiving order(s) to determine items to be moved or distributed, daily/liliReceive inbound deliveries and/or stage and load outbound deliveries Complete all documentation as required/liliPick materials from pick lists and deliver/transfer to the appropriate area in the facility/liliMaintain perpetual inventory log and manage all materials movement within the ERP system/liliPerform daily forklift checks against PMs schedules/liliRotate/store stock according to date coding and allergen protocol/liliReturn all remaining materials from production runs back into inventory and finalize control documents on said changes (additions/deletions) as required/liliMaintain a vigilant posture and practice on personal safety and product integrity./liliFollow proper sanitation procedures as described in the associated SOP./liliMaintain all associated work areas in a clean, neat manner during the entire shift./liliSafely handle chemicals and effectively clean all designated plant areas./liliRemove plant-generated waste to the trash compactor and safely operate the compactor./liliAttend all company-mandated training sessions these include Safety, Good Manufacturing Practices, etc./liliCan perform minor maintenance on associated equipment/li/ulpWhat Youll Need to Have as a General Production Operator:/pulliPrevious experience in the food industry, at least 1-2 years/liliHigh School Diploma or Equivalent: A solid educational foundation is all you need to kickstart your material handling career with us./liliMust be able to follow safety policies and must be willing to wear PPE./liliMust be self-disciplined, a team player, and be able to handle emergency situations common to the operation./liliAble to lift 50 lb./25 kg during the packaging process.
