JOB DUTIES:
- Transport chemical materials from rail to facility using golf cart and trailer
- Utilize forklift to move material indoor for storage and testing
- Ensure strict compliance with safety policies and take corrective action when necessary
- Collect, document, and deliver process samples to the lab
- Monitor and record temperatures, pressures, and flow rates
- Utilize process control computer interfaces to maintain target variables
- Perform production quality control checks and report out-of-spec conditions
- Assist with troubleshooting operational issues and support team members
- Perform basic maintenance tasks and coordinate with outside vendors
- Verify completed maintenance work
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with company procedures
- Communicate with engineers, maintenance technicians, and lab staff to schedule work
- Participate in training sessions and emergency response activities
- Maintain clean, hazard-free workstations
- Follow all operating policies and procedures and maintain awareness of ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards
HOURS:
Full time, temp to hire
12-hour shifts, 12:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Rotating compressed schedule - 3 days on, 4 days off
REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or completion of G.E.D
- 2 years of experience in a chemical manufacturing environment
- 1 year of forklift operation experience
- 1 month clean room environment experience
- Solid math skills
- Wear and use all proper safety equipment
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors
- Valid driver's license
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office and similar systems)
- 6 months experience with chemical handling and PPE compliance
PREFERENCES:
- 6 months experience documenting chemical testing results
- 6 months trailering experience (towing a trailer)
- Familiarity with quality systems and escalating OOS products
- Understanding of manufacturing concepts such as bottlenecks, production planning, and time management
- Mechanical aptitude and experience using standard production tools
