Family Law Paralegal

Robert Half is partnering with a highly regarded law firm in the Greater Portland Area to identify a Family Law Paralegal who is ready to immediately jump in to assist and possibly join their team. This position is contract with potential for extension/conversion into a permanent role. Location: Portland, OR Pay Rate: $32-40 per hour Duration: 3+ month contract, with a strong potential for extension and contract to hire for the right fit Schedule: M-F, 8am-5pm

Responsibilities:

• Categorize and analyze bank statements to support legal cases.
• Organize and draft legal documents such as discovery materials, initial pleadings, and modifications for child support or parenting plans.
• Prepare drafts for divorce agreements and other family law-related matters.
• Manage case files and oversee all aspects of case organization.
• Collaborate with attorneys to prepare for trials and hearings.
• Conduct e-filing of legal documents in compliance with court regulations.
• Utilize case management software to track progress and maintain accurate records.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Family Law Paralegal in Multnomah County

The salary range for this position is $32-40/hr. Benefits available to contract/temporary professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance.
