Location: Oregon City, Oregon

Full/Part Time: Full Time

Regular/Temporary: Regular

Annual Pay Range: $58,735.50 - $74,184.52

Hourly Pay Range: $28.238222 - $35.665636

Salary offers will be made within the posted pay range and will be based on a candidates experience (paid or unpaid) that is directly relevant to the position.

Job Details And Qualifications

We are seeking a motivated and collaborative individual with strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills to join our team as an Administrative Specialist 1. If selected for this position, you will provide paraprofessional administrative support to our program leads and management. In this role, you will be integral to the success of the program and will be expected to perform a variety of administrative duties and conduct research or studies to ensure the smooth flow of services and operations, which may include tracking, scheduling, and delivery of services. We are looking for individuals to contribute to a collaborative, partnership-focused environment within a highly functional team that has a strong focus on equity, sustainability, and public service.

Required Minimum Qualifications/ Transferrable Skills:

  • A minimum of one (1) year of administrative support experience, including all of the following:
    • Drafting, reviewing and preparing documents
    • Researching, tracking, and compiling information
    • Maintaining records in databases, spreadsheets, and paper filing systems
    • Experience preparing clear and concise reports
    • Experience with basic administration of accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks
    • Experience providing support to customers in person and over the phone
    • A minimum of one (1) year of experience with Microsoft Office Excel
    • A minimum of one (1) year of experience with Microsoft Office Word
    • Experience handling confidential information
  • Pre-Employment Requirements:
    • Driving may be necessary for County business. For position(s) with occasional/incidental driving, incumbents must possess a valid drivers license. Accommodation requests for an acceptable alternative method of transportation will be reviewed on an individual basis in compliance with State and Federal legislation. For position(s) with regular driving, incumbent(s) must also possess and maintain an acceptable driving record throughout the course of employment.
