Role Description

The Research and Development Technician is responsible for executing and supporting research projects, conducting laboratory experiments, and maintaining quality control standards. The position involves troubleshooting and ensuring the accuracy and reliability of test results while adhering to laboratory protocols. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Portland, OR, requiring hands-on work in a cutting-edge lab environment.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Analytical Skills and Research & Development (R&D) methodology
• Strong equipment maintenance and repair skills
• Hands-on experience with Laboratory Techniques and Processes
• Proven ability in Quality Control and ensuring data accuracy
• Effective Troubleshooting skills for addressing and resolving technical challenges
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational capabilities
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and follow established protocols
• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, or a related field; relevant experience may substitute for educational requirements
• Experience in environmental or industrial testing is a plus
