LHH Recruitment is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Generalist to provide comprehensive human resources support on a part-time basis. This role is fully remote but requires candidates to be based in Portland, OR for occasional local needs. The ideal candidate will have experience handling a variety of HR functions and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Location: Fully Remote (MUST be local to Portland, OR Metro area to be considered) Hours: Part-Time, 15-20 hours per week. Flexible hours between the window of Monday through Friday 8am-5pm. Duration: 14 month contract, with potential for permanent hire Industry: Healthcare Pay: $28 - $30 per hour
Leaves Management: Administer and track employee leaves, ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
Unemployment Claims: Manage unemployment claim responses and maintain accurate documentation.
Employee Relations: Serve as a resource for employee inquiries and assist in resolving workplace issues.
Recruitment & Onboarding: Support limited recruitment efforts, including posting jobs, screening candidates, and coordinating onboarding activities.
Day-to-Day HR Support: Provide general HR assistance, including maintaining records, updating systems, and supporting compliance initiatives.
Experience: 2+ years of HR generalist experience preferred.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of HR policies, employment laws, and best practices.
Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Technical: Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Location Requirement: Must reside in Portland, OR or immediate surrounding areas.
