Social isolation is deadly for seniors! Human beings are social creatures. Our connection to others enables us to survive and thrive. Yet, as we age, many of us are alone more often than when we were younger, leaving us vulnerable to social isolation and loneliness-and related health problems such as cognitive decline, depression, and heart disease.

• Work with Village members to organize activities based on their interests.
• Assure that new and ongoing activities are publicized in the newsletter and activity calendar
• Coordinate with Village Council members and other teams as necessary
• Work from home with occasional meetings with Village members and volunteers

This team member must be over 18, have enthusiasm for setting up activities for seniors, a basic knowledge of current office programs (e.g., Word and Excel), and good organizational skills. A background check is required.
