The Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI) is seeking a regular, part-time Custodian I scheduled 25 hours per week. The Custodian I provides custodial and support services for all OMSI facilities, activities, and events. Custodial staff serve to help ensure that OMSI provides a clean, safe, and healthy environment for all guests and staff.

Qualified candidates will have, but not limited to:

• Business Practices:
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills;
  • Strong customer service and communication skills;
  • Ability to adhere to confidentiality, protocol, and community agreements;
  • Ability to pivot between individual and team work;
  • Ability to model and support a positive team dynamic with paid and unpaid staff.
• Custodial Skills:
  • Working knowledge with operating and maintaining custodial tools;
  • Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve custodial-related issues;
  • Ability to learn and follow safety and protocol regulations.

The Custodian I has an hourly pay of $18.40, and is eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes:
