Job Details

We are looking for caregivers who are interested in working a Day shift with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. All day shifts start at 7am
We provide 75 hours of paid training by experienced staff.
Key Responsibilities

• Assisting individuals with their personal care- bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting/personal hygiene
• Daily tasks include light housekeeping, laundry, and keeping the home comfortable and safe
• Plan meals, shopping for groceries, preparing and serving meals/snacks
• Accompany individuals to scheduled medical appointments
• Accompany individuals on fun community activities (movies, swimming, bowling, trips to the beach, shopping at the mall, etc.)
• Assist individuals with self-administration of medications
• Document services provided using computer

Requirements

• Be at least 18 Years or older
• Be able to pass a Washington State Criminal Background Check and complete fingerprints before hire date
• Be able to provide high school diploma or high school transcript or GED
• Be able to lift up to 50 lbs, twist, turn, sit, stand for periods of time, see and hear our individuals
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Have basic computer skills
• Have good problem solving skills working as a team
