Classification: Full-time, exempt
Salary/Pay Range: $75,000 - $90,000 DOE
Reports to: Controller
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm

General Summary: We are seeking an accounting professional who enjoys working in a team and improving process. The
Accounting Manager oversees accounts receivable, accounts payable, and billing department. In this role, you'll manage a small team, collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely billing. This is a great opportunity to step into a role where you'll make a direct impact on both our client experience and our company's financial health.
Essential Functions: - Manage, lead, coach, and develop team members within the Accounting and Billing departments.
- Facilitate workflows of internal and external questions and requests from Accounting and Billing departments.
- Process, review, and audit billing to compare worked performance to estimates.
- Process, review and reconcile various reports as needed.
- Provide training and support for new hires and existing team members on departmental process and procedures.
- Facilitate client billings of products and services with external and internal business partners to ensure documentation is supported.
- Record journal entries as required.
- Preparation of sales tax liability workpapers and reconciling sales taxes in accounting system.

Supervisory Responsibility: Manages accounting staff, assigns work, oversees performance, reviews outputs, and supports staff development to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Requirements
Required Qualifications: - Associate or bachelor's degree in accounting or business
- 4+ years' experience in accounting and/or billing
- Experience and working knowledge of Microsoft: Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams (preferred), and Adobe Acrobat PDF, and ERP or IT/Accounting systems
- Management experience including performance oversight and holding accountable other team members
