Production Associate

Our Client is a contract packer or co-packer, co-packs ready to drink beverage products in aluminum cans ranging from juices, energy drinks, teas and carbonated soda drinks in a wide variety of aluminum can sizes.

Summary

The Production Technician is responsible for performing all tasks associated with beverage production equipment in a safe manner, keeping quality and efficiency in mind.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for performing all tasks associated with production equipment in a safe manner, keeping quality and efficiency in mind.
• Observe machine operations to ensure quality and conformity of filled or packaged products.
• Regulate machine flow, speed, or temperature.
• Stop or resets machines when malfunctions occur.
• Troubleshoot and report all deviations from standard parameters. Work with the team to determine root cause of the problem.
• Ensure all products are manufactured safely by following Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Complete required production paperwork accurately.
• Maintain punctual, regular, and predictable attendance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience
• Minimum 1+ years of experience in a similar setting at the same company.
• Basic computer, math and written communication skills
• Manufacturing experience required
• Food & Beverage manufacturing experience is a highly preferred.
• Knowledge of sanitation, GMP and allergen handling processes a plus
• Prior experience with production paperwork
• Two professional references required from last two jobs held
• Competitive applicants will have held jobs for at least 2-3 years at a time with good references.

Pay: Starting at $21/hr
Shift: Rotating Schedule 2,2,3 6am-6:30pm (other schedules may be available - call for updated availability)
