Job Title: Temporary Accountant (Deltek Ajera required)
Location: Downtown Portland (Hybrid 1x a week onsite)

About the Opportunity:
CV Resources has partnered with a well-established Portland-based architecture and design firm seeking an experienced Temporary Accountant to support their team for approximately 3+ months. This is an immediate need for someone who can step in with minimal training and hit the ground running.

About the Role:
This position will be responsible for day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll support, and project financial reporting. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a background in creative or project-based industries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle daily accounting tasks, including AP, AR, and payroll support.

• Maintain accurate project financials and general ledger records.

• Prepare and distribute project-level reports to leadership.

• Perform reconciliations and assist with month-end close as needed.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with project managers and studio leadership.

Qualifications:

• Deltek Ajera proficiency is required — must be comfortable working independently with minimal ramp-up.

• Strong understanding of general accounting principles and financial reporting.

• Prior experience in professional services, architecture, or design preferred.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Teams); Bluebeam experience a plus.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred or experience in lieu of.

• Location: Fully onsite in North Portland

• Compensation: Competitive hourly rate, DOE
