Job Title: Materials Handler

Location: 100% on-site in Sherwood, OR

Schedule: FED Shift - Sun-Wed, 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Duration: Yearlong Contract

PR Range: $20-$27/hr. (paid weekly on W2)

About the Role: We are seeking a Materials Handler to join our team in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment. This role is critical to ensuring accurate material flow, inventory control, and adherence to safety standards.

Top Must-Haves

  • Hands-on warehouse experience: organization, scheduling, analyzing information, lifting, data entry, inventory control.
  • Strong attention to detail and safety management.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite tools (Outlook, Excel, OneNote, etc.).


Key Responsibilities
  • Review customer orders and manage inventory across warehouses and production lines.
  • Move materials between loading docks, trucks, storage areas, and manufacturing areas.
  • Identify, label, and record material locations to maintain accurate inventory.
  • Operate material-handling equipment (forklifts, cranes, trucks) and perform pre-use inspections.
  • Complete material transactions in SAP, create non-conformance reports in IQMS, and close tasks in MFG Cell Fusion application.
  • Perform cycle counts, oversee crating, and audit outbound material.
  • Arrange nonstandard crating, rigging, and trucking through proper channels.
  • Prepare finished products for shipment by pulling, packing, and loading.


Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to analyze information and manage complexity under deadlines.
  • Experience with inventory control, data entry, and process improvement.
  • MHE trained - Forklift certification preferred.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote).


Safety Protocol
  • Complete all required safety training.
  • Follow safe work practices (lift no more than 35 lbs, use ergonomic pads, stretch as needed).
  • Adhere to PPE requirements, clean-room procedures, and Lockout Tagout (LOTO & ZEST) policies.
  • Utilize fixtures (hoists, cranes, lifting tools) for assembly.
  • Conduct RMBWA inspections and escalate safety hazards promptly.
