Job Title: Leasing Consultant

Employment Type: Part-Time

FLSA Status: Non-exempt

Location: This position supports three multi-family apartment communities totaling 210 units. The "home" base property is 134th Street Lofts. Reliable transportation is required to attend to Leverich and Avenue 66 as needed during working hours.

  • 134hth Street Lofts: 13414 NE 23rd Ave, Vancouver, WA
  • Leverich: 4705 NE Leverich Parkway, Vancouver, WA
  • Avenue 66: 4721 NE 66th Ave, Vancouver, WA
Schedule: This position is 20 hours per week
  • Saturday: 9:30am - 5:00pm
  • Sunday: 11:00am - 4:00pm
  • Monday: 8:30am - 5:00pm (hours subject to changed based on daylight/touring ability)
Reports to: Property Manager

Compensation Package:
  • Competitive hourly pay range of $22.00-$22.00

Administrative:
  • Comply with all Fair Housing and Equal Housing Opportunities requirements
  • Comply with appropriate state landlord/tenant statutes
  • Attend training and development seminars
Operational & Financial:
  • Advertise and promote the property
  • Utilize industry specific software for lead management
  • Provide tours to prospective and current residents
  • Complete full cycle lease process with prospective residents
  • Ensure compliance with renter's insurance
  • Maintain resident occupancy of 95%
  • Ensure the timely collection of rent and other ancillary revenue
  • Other duties as assigned by Property Manager
Resident Experience:
  • Engage with your prospective and current tenants using a professional and courteous approach
  • Escalate tenant relation issues to Property Manager
  • Facilitate resident events
What You'll Need:
  • Authorization to work in the United States
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of customer service and sales experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications including, Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Demonstrates teamwork, good hygiene, ethical behavior and integrity, excellent customer service and communication skills, ability to multi-task, resolve conflicts, and ambition for continuous professional development
Your Work Environment:
  • Approximately 80% in office environment using a computer and phone
  • Approximately 20% inspecting property grounds, including apartments, building structure, landscaping, and signage which may require the ability to climb stairs, ladders and maneuver walkways
  • Ability to carry or move objects weighing up to 20 pounds
