Director, Business Operations & Strategy (Marketplace Growth)

Jerry.ai, a pre‑IPO startup with $240M funding, 60X revenue growth, and a $2T market opportunity, is seeking a Director to scale our core insurance business.

Position Summary: Drive the systems, strategy, and execution behind Jerry's quoting engine, automation infrastructure, and carrier performance. Work cross‑functionally with product, engineering, and analytics to create a seamless user experience and ensure ongoing carrier success, driving key outcomes such as loss ratio, retention, and conversion.

Reporting to: VP of Insurance Operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the design and implementation of quoting and automation systems that support market expansion.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and analytics teams to streamline user flow and improve carrier integration.
• Analyze marketplace performance metrics (loss ratio, retention, conversion) to inform strategy and optimize operations.
• Lead cross‑functional initiatives that align product roadmap, engineering timelines, and operational goals.
• Build and lead a high‑performing business operations team.

Preferred Experience

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline (Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, etc.).
• 7+ years of management consulting experience at a top firm (McKinsey, Bain, BCG).
• Track record of hiring and managing high‑performing teams.

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation may include a base salary within the posted range and equity grants.
