1st Shift, Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will conduct internal audits on manufacturing processes, products, and procedures in collaboration with both our quality team and manufacturing operations teams. This role also involves verifying adherence to ISO policies and procedures documented within our quality system.

Typical Day Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with quality assurance, manufacturing operations, and inventory control personnel
  • Conduct random, in-process audits as designated by the quality manager or supervisor; assist in addressing quality-related issues
  • Inspect finished products, products in progress, incoming materials, parts, assemblies, and test products to ensure compliance with company standards; ensure corrective actions are implemented for failed lots
  • Research and resolve work-related issues, communicating them to the Supervisor, and assist colleagues in problem-solving
  • Document audit findings in the quality database system
  • Train team members and interpret process procedures/work instructions/quality bulletins during audits; provide feedback on updates to procedures
  • Engage in special projects, including auditing and cross-training in other departments, and report findings to management
  • Understand and comply with the supply chain quality policy and engage with the company's good manufacturing practices

Essential Qualifications:

  • Experience interpreting graphs
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to perform basic math operations in various measurement units
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong communication skills to convey information effectively in diverse group settings
  • At least 1 year of quality assurance experience in a manufacturing, packaging, or distribution environment

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally
  • Ability to tolerate hot or cold warehouse conditions
