Material Handler

We are currently seeking reliable, positive-minded Material Handlers to join our team at a distribution center in NE Portland. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and take pride in teamwork, safety, and productivity.

Material Handler Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $20.75/hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm)

• Load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse using a stand up forklift
• Perform quality inspections on all incoming materials
• Label and palletize products for shipment
• Prepare products using shrink wrap (machine or hand wrap as needed)
• Unload, scrap, and/or re-box returned items
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace while following all safety procedures
• Regularly lift up to 40 lbs

Material Handler Qualifications:

• Previous material handler or warehouse experience required
• Forklift experience required
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

• Applicant may be subject to a background check
• Pre-employment drug screen (excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
