Central City Concern is hiring for an On Call Eligibility Clerk!
Location: Hooper Detoxification Stabilization Center (1535 N Williams. Portland, OR 97227)
Schedule: Monday - Friday, Between the hours of 6:45am-4pm
Compensation: $23.49/hr
On Call employees must work at least once in every 6-month period to remain active on payroll
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have High School Diploma or GED.
A minimum of one year administrative or customer service experience is required.
Must have current CPR certification prior to start.
Must have current Adult First Aid Certification prior to start date.
Experience in a fast-paced environment preferred.
Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience with office machines (fax, photocopier, phone systems) required.
Ability to respond quickly and use good judgment in unusual and emergency situations
Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, TB test, and background check. This includes clearance by the DHS Background Check Unit.
Must adhere to agency's non-discrimination policies.
Ability to effectively interact with coworkers, clients and children with diverse ethnic and cultural background, religious views, political affiliations, sexual orientation and treat everyone with respect and dignity.
The OARs prohibit Substance Use Disorder program staff from having within the previous 3 years a DUI conviction or diversion, a felony conviction, or a conviction under the Uniform Controlled Substances Act.
