Shift Schedule: 5:00 am - 1:30 pm, Monday - Friday

Position Summary

The Production Supervisor leads daily manufacturing operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production of precision quartz glassware. This role oversees shift activities, aligns teams to production goals, enforces safety and quality standards, and supports continuous improvement efforts. The Production Supervisor develops employees through coaching and training while promoting a positive, accountable, and performance-driven culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct and coordinate all shift activities, including supervisor handoffs, production priorities, and team alignment.
  • Maintain clear, consistent communication to ensure smooth transitions and accurate execution of plans.
  • Develop and manage daily/weekly production plans to meet output targets.
  • Monitor workflow, resolve bottlenecks, and maintain accurate production performance reporting.
  • Coach, train, and provide performance feedback to team members, ensuring adherence to standard work.
  • Foster a positive, accountable, and collaborative work environment.
  • Audit production processes and manage non-conforming products.
  • Lead root cause analysis and drive corrective and preventive actions.
  • Champion a safety-first culture through policy enforcement, audits, and 5S practices.
  • Ensure accountability for hazard identification and corrective actions.
  • Partner with Engineering to identify and implement process improvements that eliminate waste and enhance efficiency.
  • Track and report KPIs and lead initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience in a traditional manufacturing or machine shop environment
  • 2+ years in a lead or supervisory role
  • Strong understanding of production processes, safety regulations, and quality control
  • Proficiency with Lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Ability to plan, organize, and analyze production data
  • Experience auditing processes for compliance
  • Demonstrated success driving performance against safety, quality, and delivery goals
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Teams)
