OPTI STAFFING IS HIRING!
Location: Forest Grove, OR
Compensation: $19-$21/hr DOE
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:00am-2:30pm
Who We Are:
Our manufacturing facility sits on five acres in beautiful Forest Grove, Oregon - framed by the Coast Range to the west and the Cascades to the east. We began as a supplier of group operator air break disconnects, and over the years our product line has expanded to include motor operators, ground switches, surge suppression resistors, and unitized phase-over-phase designs, among others.
What You'll Do:
As part of the Fabrication Team, you'll work across multiple departments supporting the manufacturing and fabrication process. Key responsibilities include:

• Setting up punch and die sets, cutting blades, and notching dies or shear blades according to work orders.
  
• Measuring and marking workpieces from templates to locate holes or cutting lines.
  
• Positioning materials accurately under punches, dies, or blades and operating machines via lever or pedal.
  
• Setting guides, stops, and jigs for repeatable precision.
  
• Tending various sections of fabrication equipment and performing basic setups.
  
• Inspecting and documenting completed work, including any materials rejected or scrapped.
  
• Ensuring parts meet quality standards and production specifications.

The Must-Haves:

• Ability to move or carry up to 50 lbs.
  
• Comfortable standing for up to 10 hours.
  
• Proficient in reading and using a tape measure.
  
• Reliable transportation.
  
• Mechanically inclined and eager to learn.
