Pay Rate: $25-27/hr DOE

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Light Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role focuses on preventative maintenance and general facility upkeep rather than heavy equipment repair. The ideal candidate will ensure our facility remains safe, clean, and operational through routine inspections, minor repairs, and common maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Preventative Maintenance
o Perform routine inspections and maintenance on facility systems (e.g., HVAC filters, plumbing fixtures, doors, windows).
o Lubricate moving parts and tighten loose components on non-electrical equipment.
o Replace worn or damaged parts on basic mechanical systems.
• General Facility Upkeep
o Maintain cleanliness and organization in maintenance areas and common spaces.
o Ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standards.
• Painting and Surface Repairs
o Patch walls, repair minor drywall damage, and apply paint or coatings.
o Maintain floors, ceilings, and other surfaces as needed.
• Basic Repairs
o Fix leaks, replace seals, and maintain plumbing fixtures.
o Repair or replace non-electrical hardware (e.g., hinges, locks, handles).
• Safety and Compliance
o Conduct regular inspections for hazards and report issues promptly.
o Maintain records of maintenance activities and inspections.
• Other Common Facility Tasks
o Assemble or move furniture and fixtures.
o Maintain exterior grounds (e.g., sweeping, minor landscaping).
o Support seasonal facility needs (e.g., snow removal, minor weatherproofing).

Qualifications
• Experience
o 3-5 years of facility or building maintenance experience.
o Familiarity with preventative maintenance practices and basic repair techniques.
• Technical Skills
o Working knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, painting, drywall repair, and general facility upkeep.
o Ability to perform minor mechanical repairs (non-electrical).
o Basic understanding of HVAC systems for filter changes and routine checks.
• Safety & Compliance
o Knowledge of workplace safety standards and ability to follow safety protocols.
• Soft Skills
o Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
o Good communication skills for interacting with management and vendors.
o Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
• Physical Requirements
o Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks involving standing, bending, and climbing ladders.
o Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying conditions.

o Valid driver's license (if travel between sites is required).
