Client: Sports Vehicle Manufacturing Company
Duration: 6 Months (Possibility for Extension)
Location: Battle Ground, WA 98604
Shift: Part-time - Approximately 10.5 hours per week
Schedule: Monday (5:00 PM-8:00 PM), Tuesday (5:00 PM-9:30 PM), Thursday (5:00 PM-8:00 PM)
(Flexible scheduling as needed)

Position Overview

The Janitor plays a critical role in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized facility environment. This position ensures all areas-including offices, restrooms, breakrooms, and production spaces-are properly sanitized and presentable for employees and visitors. The ideal candidate will take ownership of cleanliness and maintain high-quality standards while working independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize office spaces, production areas, restrooms, and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, scrub, or vacuum floors; perform spot cleaning and deep cleaning as needed.
• Empty trash and recycling bins; transport waste to designated disposal areas.
• Dust furniture, desks, monitors, and other surfaces with care.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning and restroom supplies; notify maintenance when replenishment is needed.
• Ensure compliance with all company safety, security, and quality procedures.
• Follow company standards for handling and storing cleaning products; use only approved materials.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding facility conditions.
• Perform inspections to ensure consistent sanitation quality.
• Wear appropriate PPE (safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves) in designated areas.
• Complete additional cleaning or maintenance-related tasks as assigned.

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs, push/pull up to 100 lbs, and perform repetitive movements (bending, twisting, kneeling, squatting, reaching).
• Ability to stand and walk for up to 5 hours per shift.
• Comfortable working independently and maintaining high-quality standards in a repetitive environment.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Successful completion of pre-employment background check and drug screening.
• Prior experience in janitorial, custodial, or facility maintenance work preferred.

• Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
• Demonstrates a positive and proactive work attitude.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong sense of ownership over facility cleanliness and appearance.
