Job Title: Production Helper

Job Description

Engage in material handling and machine operation, packaging and labeling finished products, and preparing them for shipping. Assist with the setup and operation of automated production machinery used for weatherizing large paper rolls for construction purposes. Duties also include shop cleanup, general shop help, and operating a forklift to move materials.

Essential Skills

• Experience in forklift operation.

• Familiarity with manufacturing environments.

• Experience with industrial machinery.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Preferred experience in manufacturing or warehouse environments.

• Previous forklift operating experience is highly preferred.

• Open to candidates with the right attitude and willingness to work in an industrial setting.

Work Environment

Work in an industrial manufacturing environment with heavy machinery. Personal protective equipment including safety shoes, hard hats, earplugs, and safety glasses are required. The work schedule rotates between day, swing, and night shifts every 8 weeks.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Portland, OR.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.80 - $24.80/hr.
