In this role, you'll be instrumental in shaping the future of retail. You'll partner, communicate, and influence key cross-functional teams, including Store Merchandising, Consumer Merchandising, Planning & Allocation, Visual Merchandising, Store Operations, and Brand Marketing. Your mission? To bring to life a visionary assortment that delights consumers and drives continuous progress. You'll leverage your robust business acumen, ability to manage multiple seasons, and deep understanding of trends and the marketplace to curate consumer-right assortments. This means using historical data, analytics, and real-time market feedback to inform future strategies while staying agile and responsive in the present. The ideal candidate will have proven retail competence, demonstrated analytical abilities, and a solid understanding of retail environments. You're a true consumerist at heart, always seeking to understand what moves the market. Plus, you're comfortable mentoring individual contributors within a structured coaching framework, helping to elevate the entire team. Responsibilities

As a Buyer, job duties include:

• Own bringing the seasonal assortment to life in Stores.
• Understand related aspects of the business and marketplace in making your plans, including coordinating between genders, brands and how individual products or collections impact each other.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure assortment plans meet consumer demand and strategies execute.
• Hone consumer-centric assortment plans across multiple seasons with an understanding of position in the market and competitive landscape to blend fact-based and intuitive inputs.
• Participate in seasonal buy reviews and in-season trading to influence actions to optimize growth with your critical partners.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in buying and/or merchandising, product creation and/or retail in a vertical, multi-brand or digital environment.
• Demonstrated affinity for current market trends and how apparel can continue to be a style leader in the marketplace.
• Footwear, Apparel, Equipment or relevant consumer product buying and/or merchandising experience.
• Understanding of common retail and/or digital profit-based metrics such as sell-through, turn, ASP, UPT, and others.
• Ability to contribute to and drive strategy into action.
