Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Maintenance Technician III role in Clackamas, OR. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform advanced troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of production equipment, with a strong emphasis on water jet and laser cutting systems.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues to minimize downtime.
• Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and longevity.
• Support installation, setup, and commissioning of new machinery and production equipment.
• Maintain and service CNC-related equipment, controls, drives, and motion systems.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve equipment performance and efficiency.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals.
• Accurately document maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies, including lockout/tagout procedures.
• Proactively identify potential equipment failures and recommend corrective actions.

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred.
• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience, with hands-on experience maintaining water jet and/or laser cutting equipment required.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills; PLC experience is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs and work in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety and quality.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work overtime, and weekends as needed.
