The Receiving QC Inspector is responsible to meet and enforce his responsibilities listed below under the QMS system, Quality Manual (QM), Description of the System of Calibration (CSD). Assure the internal receiving inspection process complies to CSD Appendix 13 Table 3which comply with International Standard ISO 17025 and National standards Z540-1 and Z540.3.

The professional qualifications required and the experience necessary to effectively complete the responsibilities of this position.


Education:

- High School or Equivalent Job Experience


Training:

- Complete the QMS exams 101, 102, 103, 104, 105, 201 and 401.

- ESDC Teamsite Module, to be completed within 3 days of commencing employment.

- Training Evaluation Form signed by QC Supervisor to document that the individual has competent verbal and written skills and is qualified to inspect work against documented procedures and/or processes and to detect non-conformances in calibration processes. Issue CQA-FM-004 MP Initial and Final QC Inspector Qualification Certificate Form signed by QA Manager or QC Supervisor.

- Meets and Enforce MP CSD Appendix 13 Table 8 Final Inspection Process


Work Experience:

- Minimum 1 Years of Receiving QC Inspection or equivalent experience.


Knowledge, Skills and Ability:

  • Problem-solving, analytical skills and highly detail-oriented
  • Knowledge in the following software applications a plus: Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately.
  • Acceptable Communication/ Verbal and Written Skills
  • Knowledge of industrial and quality standards a plus (ISO / IEC, ASTM, ANSI, etc.)
