West Vancouver Materials Recovery Center (West Van), a Waste Connections company, is looking to hire a highly motivated & safety driven, Forklift Operator, to work at our Transfer Station in Vancouver, WA.Pay range is $27-$29/HR DOESchedule is Monday - FridayShift is 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM with some overtime as needed.Safety Sensitive: YesQualified candidates must have Forklift operating experience.* REQUIRES ability to efficiently & safely operate Forklift.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:* Operate forklift or other equipment as needed.* Perform routine inspection and maintenance on vehicles such as checking fluids, safety equipment, and tires.* Completes daily reports on pre and post trip inspections of equipment.* Yard and facility maintenance including debris and clean up.* Spotting Trucks.* Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.* Specific duties can change on the daily basis as operation needs change.* Working outside in all weather conditions.WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:* Extensive physical activity.
