Pay: $32.66 per hour

Hours: Monday-Friday; 8AM-5PM

Location: Beaverton, OR 97005 - Onsite

Overview

This role supports the strategizing, building, and management of the Sportswear product offering and seasonal assortments for a global consumer. The Brand Merchant II will work in a fast-paced retail environment, collaborating closely with cross-functional partners while maintaining merchandising tools, systems, and seasonal plans. Success in this role requires curiosity, analytical thinking, attention to detail, and a consumer-first mindset.

Job Description

  • Support Merchandising teams in identifying and landing global product opportunities
  • Manage, maintain, and communicate seasonal merchandising tools and systems
  • Assist with merch line plans and seasonal assortment builds
  • Conduct research and analysis on consumer and marketplace trends
  • Build strong relationships with cross-functional partners including:
    • Consumer Planning
    • Product Creation
    • GEO Merchandising
    • Consumer Insights & Analytics
    • Gender Merchandising teams
  • Support other merch planners as needed
  • Assist with sample management
  • Update and maintain tools including Keynote, Excel, and AV systems
  • Balance multiple deadlines and competing priorities in a collaborative environment
  • Present information clearly to cross-functional partners
Required Skills
  • 2+ years of experience in Merchandising (buying or planning)
  • Strong retail background in customer service at a manager level or higher
  • Experience managing merch line plans
  • Experience creating seasonal assortments
  • Demonstrated understanding of consumer behavior and marketplace trends
  • Ability to analyze business and consumer data
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Team-first mentality
  • Ability to work in highly cross-functional environments
Nice to Have (Preferred, Not Required)
  • Footwear or apparel industry experience
  • Product coordination or PLM (Product Line Management) experience
  • Experience working on start-ups, new projects, or entrepreneurial initiatives
Education Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Merchandising, Marketing or equivalent relevant experience
