Job Overview

Mobile Associates, Store-in-Store, are vital members of the Retail Team who bring the T-Mobile brand to life in partner locations. Your engagement with customers is critical for success. You will be an ambassador creating excitement around our products and services in a dynamic retail environment. You should be passionate about the connected world and thrive in a high-traffic setting where technology, customer preferences, and retail experiences are constantly changing. As a Mobile Associate, you'll excel at building and deepening customer relationships through meaningful interactions while meeting and exceeding performance targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage proactively with a diverse range of customers in a bustling retail environment, utilizing digital tools for effective communication, education, and to showcase the value of T-Mobile solutions.
  • Utilize self-service digital tools during customer interactions to identify needs and employ solution-based selling techniques that demonstrate the value of T-Mobile products, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Complete thorough training on the T-Mobile in-store experience, stay informed on products, processes, and promotions, and continuously enhance your skills to provide optimal customer experiences.
  • Exhibit a customer-obsessed mindset, connecting on a personal level, building trust, and loyalty with every interaction, while proactively reaching out to potential customers to drive sales.
  • Build strong relationships with local leadership and teams to enhance the customer journey from account setup to ongoing support.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience in a retail setting preferred.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Passionate customer advocate, dedicated to enhancing customer experiences while achieving performance goals.
  • Team player, eager to collaborate with peers and leadership to share best practices in serving customers.
  • Confident and driven to succeed in a fast-paced sales environment.

Licenses and Certifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Compensation:

The hourly base pay is $17.50, plus an additional $5.00 per hour for training. Within your first 90 days, you will receive on-the-job training and are eligible for hourly training pay. Upon completion of training, you will promote to the Mobile Expert role with an annual incentive target of $18,000. Actual incentives can vary based on performance and full-time status. All employees are guaranteed to earn $20/hour when combining base pay and incentives. Furthermore, every employee at T-Mobile is eligible for an annual stock grant.
