Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate Assembly Production Specialist to join our dynamic team. This full-time contract role requires onsite presence, and your schedule will be from Monday - Thursday, 3:15 PM - 1:45 AM. Please note that we will only consider applicants with work authorizations that do not require sponsorship now or in the future.

What You'll Do

  • Execute routine production operations, including wire straightening, grinding, assembly, and coil production.
  • Perform precise inspections of small components utilizing tools such as rulers and microscopes.
  • Carefully document work processes and measurements to maintain accuracy.
  • Employ power tools effectively and safely, while managing light lifting and carrying tasks (up to 20 pounds).
  • Adhere to detailed instructions and correctly process internal documentation.

What You'll Need

Required

  • Strong documentation skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Basic math skills and proficiency in both English and metric systems.
  • Capability to count, add, subtract, and measure product dimensions accurately.
  • Proficient reading skills in English for safety guidelines and documentation.
  • Good manual dexterity for handling intricate parts.
  • Experience with safely using power tools and lifting light objects (up to 20 pounds).
  • Good eyesight or corrected vision to meet job requirements.

Preferred:

  • Ability to read blueprints.
  • 1-2 years of relevant machining experience.
  • Introductory experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English for effective instruction delivery.

Physical Demands

  • Ability to perform essential job functions safely, adhering to ADA and applicable standards.
  • Experience handling repetitive tasks on a computer comfortably.
  • Willingness to sit 60-75% of the time, with some responsibilities requiring standing for extended periods.
  • Strong communication skills to interact easily with supervisors and team members.
  • Mobility to navigate the production environment as needed.
  • Manual dexterity to efficiently perform repetitive production tasks.
