POSITION PURPOSE:
Join a passionate team dedicated to nourishing the minds and bodies of students. We provide three wholesome, homemade meals daily to students and staff at a renowned Outdoor School. Your culinary expertise will directly impact the success and enjoyment of each student's transformative experience.

- c. preparing vegetable displays
- 2. Preparing serving area for each meal.
- 3. Preparing snacks for afternoon. cabin time.
- 4. Preparing snacks for adults / high school students in the evening.
- 5. Placing food into serving dishes for tables during meals.
- 6. Filling condiment containers (sugar, salt, pepper, ketchup, etc.)
- 7. Cleaning counters and coffee area after meals.
- 8. Sweeping / mopping floors as needed.
- 9. Washing pots / pans as needed.
- 10. Cleaning cooking utensils.
- 11. Unloading and stacking deliveries.
- 12. Preparing boxes for students cook-outs.
- 13. Filling flour / sugar bins as needed.
- 14. Serving meals to site population.
- 15. Washing dishes as needed.
- 16. Communicate with others utilizing appropriate verbal and non-verbal interactions.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, ABILITIES: - Daily and consistent attendance and punctuality
- Ability to relate to children and adolescents in a friendly and pleasant manner.
- Ability to obtain Food Handlers Card and complete online SafeSchools training before the first job day. Computers and space can be provided if needed
- Knowledge of proper kitchen hygiene and attire.
- Ability to pass background check.
- Ability to get to and from work
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, ABILITIES: - Bilingual or multilingual in [Spanish, Vietnamese, Chinese, Russian, Somali]
- Kitchen or Service Experience.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: - Any combination of education and experience which would provide the applicant with the desired skills, knowledge and ability required to perform the job
WORKING CONDITIONS: Work is performed in a typical camp and outdoor environment subject to moderate or loud noises. Work is performed in-person.
