Position Overview:

We are looking for dedicated independent contractors to perform comprehensive and objective inspections of residential and commercial properties. As a Field Inspector, you will play an essential role in collecting critical data for clients in the Property Insurance, Facility Management, and Real Estate sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct inspections of steep and/or high roofs safely
  • Set up and manage ladders and equipment weighing up to 100 pounds
  • Accurately measure and sketch roof and room layouts
  • Assess roofs and rooms of varying sizes for condition and age
  • Travel to inspect properties impacted by catastrophic weather, with assignments lasting from 2 to 6 weeks
  • Be available for short-notice assignments and complete tasks as specified

  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail, organization, and time-management skills
  • Utilize our proprietary software on smartphones for documentation
  • Travel comfortably within a 100-mile radius of your home market
  • Maintain flexibility in scheduling job assignments
  • Utilize additional equipment such as 3D Cameras, Drones, and Moisture Meters as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in roofing sales or construction
  • Background in Property Insurance
  • HAAG Certification
  • Proficient in using a 40-foot ladder

Minimum Requirements:

  • Reliable vehicle (truck, van, or SUV) for transporting a 32-foot ladder
  • Operational laptop and smartphone
  • Willingness to travel, especially during catastrophic events
  • Able to obtain HAAG Certification within 90 days
  • Skilled in using technology for data entry and report writing
  • Timely submission of quality reports
  • Professional appearance
  • Valid driver's license
  • State-issued Workers Compensation
  • Certificate of General Liability Insurance
  • LLC Articles or Certificate of Organization
  • 1099 independent contractor classification
  • Availability to work 7 days a week with flexible scheduling
  • High earning potential with the possibility of a six-figure income
