JOB SUMMARY: Are you passionate about creating a clean and welcoming environment for guests? As a Room Attendant, you will play a vital role in ensuring guest satisfaction by maintaining a pristine and organized space for our extended-stay guests. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Thoroughly clean guest rooms according to our high property standards, focusing on floors, bathrooms, kitchenettes, and furnishings.
  • Conduct deep cleans in rooms after guest departures, addressing all surfaces, linens, and appliances.
  • Replenish essential items, including linens, towels, toiletries, and other room supplies.
  • Efficiently remove trash, clean floors, dust surfaces, sanitize bathrooms, and restock housekeeping carts.
  • Report any maintenance issues, safety concerns, or damages to the General Manager promptly.
  • Keep housekeeping carts and storage areas organized and secure at all times.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in common areas, including hallways, stairwells, and lobbies.
  • Adhere to all safety procedures, utilizing cleaning products and PPE properly.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to ensure seamless property operation.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior experience in housekeeping or janitorial work is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Ability to read and follow instructions in English.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.

  • Punctuality, dependability, and availability for scheduled shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, are crucial.
  • Adhere to all safety, security, and operational procedures as trained.

  • Collaborate effectively as part of a team to support shared property goals.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb stairs for extended periods during shifts.
  • Capable of lifting/moving up to 25 pounds independently and up to 100 pounds with assistance (e.g., laundry bags, cleaning equipment, mattresses).
  • Proficiency in using hands and arms for sweeping, mopping, wiping, and other repetitive tasks.
  • Adept at detecting odors such as smoke, gas, or strong cleaning chemicals to ensure a safe environment.
  • Must possess vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception, with the ability to adjust focus.
  • May be exposed to cleaning chemicals, odors, dirt, dust, and varying temperatures.
  • Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
