POSITION PURPOSE AND SUMMARY

The Overnight Laundry Services Attendant plays a vital role in providing our guests with an outstanding experience during their stay. This position involves assisting guests throughout the night, managing check-ins and check-outs, as well as overseeing laundry responsibilities while strictly adhering to safety and security protocols according to company standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to ensuring a memorable experience for guests and fellow team members.
  • Facilitate the check-in and check-out processes for guests, including handling payments in accordance with established procedures.
  • Manage laundry tasks with care, including stain removal, washing, drying, and folding various items such as linens, towels, and blankets.
  • Ensure dishware is washed and handled according to company standards.
  • Maintain housekeeping carts and laundry rooms, ensuring all necessary supplies are available to meet hotel requirements.
  • Prepare the grab-and-go breakfast setup according to brand specifications.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the hotel premises to uphold cleanliness and address any maintenance issues.
  • Adhere to all safety and security protocols, promptly reporting any concerns.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with cleaning various areas of the hotel as needed, including the front desk and common spaces.
  • Take ownership of the overall cleanliness of the hotel.
  • Perform additional tasks as directed by management.

SHIFTS

This position typically requires working from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

  • Strong mathematical skills for managing transactions.
  • Exhibit good judgment in all situations.
  • Aptitude for promptly resolving guest-related issues.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Regularly required to stand and navigate through the hotel.
  • Frequent bending and positioning to access lower areas.
  • Capability to lift and move laundry and dishes up to 25 pounds.
  • Occasionally push and pull carts weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • May involve working at heights and exposure to various environmental conditions.
  • Work is conducted in moderate to loud noise levels.
  • Occasional travel to support other locations may be necessary.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent experience in a related field.
