Your Day at Lowe's

In this role, you'll ensure shelves remain stocked and backrooms are well-organized. This involves unloading freight, moving products to the sales floor, and maintaining a clean workspace. Additionally, you may assist customers in locating or loading products. Most shifts require physical activity, with scheduling flexibility for morning, evening, or overnight hours based on store needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service by assisting customers, answering inquiries, and offering project support.
  • Stock merchandise by unloading freight, organizing shelves, and setting up pallets.
  • Support store operations by verifying deliveries, completing dock preparations, and operating equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment by adhering to procedures for hazardous materials and equipment use.
  • Operate store technology, including scanners, Zebra phones, balers, and necessary tools.
  • Collaborate as a team player to complete assigned tasks.

Additional responsibilities for Pro Fulfillment Stores include:

  • Using the Orders App to pick and stage Flatbed Delivery orders.
  • Loading delivery orders while ensuring quality and accuracy.
  • Rotating orders by delivery date and resolving any customer order issues.
  • Proactively communicating with customers to ensure delivery satisfaction.
  • Implementing Delivery Readiness best practices.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3 months of experience operating forklifts or similar power equipment.
  • 6 months of experience in a warehouse handling inventory and stocking.

This role may require occasional travel for meetings, training sessions, or to support nearby stores.

Working Conditions

Work conditions depend on the location and could include both indoor and outdoor environments. You might experience various weather conditions—heat, cold, wet or windy—and may encounter noise from moving equipment. Associates should follow guidelines to limit single lifts to 75 pounds and utilize team lifts as necessary. Proper training for powered equipment is required.

Pay Range: $17.13 - $18.40 per hour.
