Evergreen Public Schools is seeking On Call Classified Campus Security Substitutes.
An On Call Campus Security Substitute will provide security support to the educational process by protecting the rights and property of the Evergreen School District and its employees, students, and visitors by enforcing District policies and regulations relating to safety and security.
Duties include, but are not limited to, patrolling school campus both inside and outside the facilities; monitor students in halls; assist administrators in escorting students for disciplinary action; contribute to the general order of the entire school facility by stopping fights, resolving conflicts, problem-solving, exercising careful judgment, using tact and diplomacy in dealing with students, staff and general public, and maintain professional composure and attire.

Additional Information:
Substitute employees may accrue sick leave at the rate of one (1) hour of sick leave for every 40 hours worked under Washington State Law. Upon working 630 hours in a school year, substitutes may be eligible for insurance benefits through School Employees Benefits Board (SEBB) which includes medical, dental, vision, long-term disability, life and AD&D insurance.
The District requires a criminal background investigation including fingerprints.
