Job Title: Networking Architect – IFE/IFC

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Networking Architect to design and lead next-generation networking solutions for In-Flight Entertainment and Connectivity (IFE/IFC) platforms. The role focuses on Layer 2/3 networking, security, virtualization, and cloud-integrated embedded systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and define Layer 2/3 networking architecture for embedded IFE/IFC platforms
• Architect WAN, LAN, WLAN, and secure networking solutions
• Develop networking frameworks for virtualization and containerized environments
• Review and improve existing network designs
• Collaborate with platform architects and engineering teams
• Produce architecture diagrams and design documentation

Required Skills

• Layer 2/3 networking, IP routing, VLAN, VXLAN, IPv4/IPv6
• Linux networking (iptables, routing, firewall, NAT, DHCP, DNS, NTP)
• Networking protocols: OSPF, BGP, VPN, SDN
• Container & virtualization networking: Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift
• Network security, TLS, cryptography
• Enterprise networking equipment (Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, F5)
• AWS networking (VPC, VPN)
• SAFe Agile experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or related field
• 8+ years of networking architecture experience
