Material Handler

Job Summary: As a Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in supporting our manufacturing and distribution operations. Reporting to the Logistics Supervisor, you will be responsible for safely operating forklifts to move and load/unload materials, ensuring the timely and efficient flow of goods through our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate forklifts to transport, load, and unload a variety of materials and products
• Perform pre-shift inspections and maintain forklift equipment in good working condition
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment
• Collaborate with the logistics team to optimize material handling and distribution processes
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to forklift operations

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in an industrial or warehouse setting
• Ability to read and interpret safety instructions and operating manuals
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Working Conditions: This position involves physical labor in an industrial manufacturing and distribution environment. You will be required to lift and maneuver heavy objects, and may be exposed to noise, vibration, and other hazards associated with forklift operation. The schedule may involve day or swing shifts.

Compensation and Benefits: Target pay rate of $23.10 per hour, as well as a comprehensive benefits program that includes health insurance, retirement contributions, and paid time off.

Shift: Swing shift 3:30pm-12:00pm
