MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Consistently provide outstanding experiences for guests.
  • Effectively resolve guest issues in alignment with our company's objectives.
  • Ensure cleanliness and service excellence through regular inspections.
  • Oversee compliance with brand standards and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead recruitment and onboarding processes while ensuring adherence to training programs.
  • Encourage a positive work environment through motivation and team collaboration.
  • Work closely with the District Manager to enhance team performance through strategic coaching and fair policy implementation.
  • Conduct daily meetings to relay updates and address specific hotel needs.
  • Manage inventory and purchasing to ensure budget compliance.
  • Optimize labor costs while maintaining operational efficiency.
  • Oversee all financial transactions and ensure prompt payment collection.
  • Generate quality leads through active guest engagement and market analysis.
  • Adhere to ESA standards and maintain compliance throughout the hotel.
  • Process bank deposits in accordance with company policies.
  • Conduct competitive market analyses to enhance our positioning.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Regularly review in-house rates.
  • Comply with all relevant employment laws and regulations.
  • Assist with various hotel operations as needed.
  • Mentor the Assistant General Manager and other leadership team members.
  • Monitor guest feedback and respond quickly to reviews and inquiries.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

At least three years of relevant hospitality management experience is required, along with expertise in customer service. A valid driver's license and successful motor vehicle check are essential.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • A two-year degree is highly preferred.
  • Basic proficiency in computer software, including email, word processing, and spreadsheets.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks efficiently.
  • Experience in leading and directing staff during daily operations.
  • Conversational or proficient Spanish is advantageous.

ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS

  • This role may involve exposure to various weather conditions.
  • Task completion may occasionally require handling moving mechanical parts or various chemicals.
  • Noise levels in the workplace are typically moderate.
  • Local travel may be necessary, with possible longer-distance travel requiring air transportation.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds occasionally.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Strong proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to effectively write for internal communications.
  • Ability to present information clearly in one-on-one and small group settings.
  • Professional communication skills necessary for effective interactions within the hotel.
  • Conversational Spanish is beneficial.
