Responsibilities

• Deliver an engaging shopping experience through exceptional customer service, interactive product education, effective cross-selling, and creative merchandising efforts.
• Build a knowledgeable and efficient team trained in Murray's Cheese products and operations to ensure high-quality service.
• Communicate and uphold Kroger and Murray's policies and procedures for operational excellence.
• Maintain strict adherence to Food Safety, Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point, and Sanitation Procedures.
• Oversee inventory management with precise ordering and stock maintenance.
• Organize weekly in-store events to spotlight featured products and attract customers.
• Contribute positively to achieving sales goals and enhancing profitability.
• Monitor shrink and waste effectively, adhering to established Best Practices.
• Control labor costs through strategic scheduling to optimize team performance.
• Meet or exceed budgetary goals for the Murray's Cheese Shop.
• Supervise and mentor team members, providing consistent performance feedback to drive team growth.
• This role may be adapted with reasonable accommodations to effectively perform essential job functions.

Qualifications

• Management or food retail experience, or a two-year Culinary Degree.
• A genuine passion for tasting and exploring various cheeses.
• Supportive of cheese business initiatives and current trends.
• Able to inspire and train your team towards achieving goals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong multitasking abilities to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Enthusiasm for learning, a passion for cheese, and willingness to embrace innovative ideas.
